Cameron Bancroft and Colin Munro will open the Scorchers’ batting. Rashid Khan, who took Munro out a few times previously, will present a tough challenge for Munro. In the absence of critical players Michell Marsh and Josh Inglis, the Scorchers will turn to Patterson to score quick runs at the top. Patterson proved the faith of head coach Adam Voges correct with a half-century in 28 balls. As expected, Evans and Turner will continue to form a solid partnership in the middle order.
