Pitch & Condition

Punjab and Bangalore are likely to get a bowling track from the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy. The bowlers will enjoy playing on the surface because it has bounce and pace. The team batting second is likely to have an advantage in the game. PBKS vs RCB, 3rd Match- Prediction

The par score is expected to be in the range of 170-180.

Toss Prediction

Both teams agreed that chasing was the better option in the editions of this tournament in Mumbai. More than 75 per cent of matches were won by the team that bowled first, and the team that is expected to win the toss may choose to field first.

According to toss prediction, Royal Challengers Bangalore will win the toss and bowl first.

Team Analysis

Punjab Kings

With Mayank, Dhawan, and Bairstow at the helm, Punjab has put together a strong batting lineup this season. The trio has a lot of tournament experience scoring huge runs and can alter gears quickly depending on the situation. Last season, Punjab’s middle-order was a significant source of concern, as it misfired spectacularly, resulting in the club finishing sixth in the points standings. On the other hand, Punjab has added quality players such as Liam Livingstone, Odeon Smith, and Rishi Dhawan to help them achieve their goal this season. They’ve also re-hired Shahrukh to complete the innings with some firepower.

Despite signing Kagiso Rabada and Rahul Chahar, Punjab’s bowling department appears behind the competition. Rabada will lead the effort with the ball, but if he gets injured, Punjab will be without a capable alternative. They brought in Nathan Ellis as the other overseas pacer. Still, his lack of IPL experience could backfire for PBKS, as it did with Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith the previous season. PBKS has Anil Kumble as their coach, but they haven’t done any spin recruiting, which has caused some suspicions. The franchise acquired Rahul Chahar as their strike spinner, but the second spinner’s position is still determined, as Livingstone is expected to play a significant part with the ball.

Top players to bet on- Rahul Chahar, Kagiso Rabada, Liam Livingstone.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB has been a top-heavy squad and has always trusted their top players. The availability of substantially experienced names like Kohli, Maxwell, Faf, and Josh, who have played in IPL and international cricket for many years, is RCB’s most substantial strength this year. Virat Kohli, who would no longer be under the pressure of captaincy, is another RCB strength. RCB, on the other hand, will miss AB’s retirement from cricket, which he announced last year. He may come back in a different role, though.

When it comes to the flaws, I believe the storey is the same as last year. In the centre of the order, there isn’t a single Reliable Indian Batter. If Virat and Kohli open the innings and Maxwell arrives at 4 p.m., RCB does not have a reliable middle infield hitter or an explosive player in the lower middle order who can help the team win three out of five close games. This has been their tale for years, and it will continue this year. This year’s weakness is their spin bowling without Yuzi Chahal. They have Hasaranga, but the four foreign player limit will damage them. I believe that bowling and batting cannot both be exceptional simultaneously.

Top players to bet on – Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Faf du Plessis.

Dream 11 Prediction

Two of the three older franchises, Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, have yet to win an IPL trophy. Both teams have strong lineups, thanks to some good auction purchases.
